Privacy and the Internet

Congregation Beth El is a not-for-profit synagogue affiliated with the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism. Congregation Beth El will endeavor to protect the confidential and personal information of our members, and to comply with our members’ reasonable expectations of privacy. To that end, we do not sell our members’ confidential information nor do we offer that information to third parties, other than the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and organizations affiliated with the Conservative movement, whose privacy policies we have reviewed and accepted. Congregation Beth El maintains a website, on which is published the date, time, and location of congregational events, newsletters and announcements. However, personal addresses and contact information will be removed before any text is posted. Should a member prefer to not have their name appear on our website, please contact the webmaster at webmaster@bethelyardley.org or the synagogue office, and reasonable efforts will be taken to comply with your request. Congregation Beth El will not identify the name of any child whose picture appears in any congregational publication, whether in print or on the web.
